Biography

I completed my undergraduate study in Meteorology at Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, with a thesis about the analysis of the Borneo Vortex using potential vorticity. I work at the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia. My research interests are rainfall extremes, climate variability, tropical weather and climate. I am currently a Master’s student at the University of Melbourne, working on the influence of MJO and East Coast Lows on rainfall in eastern Australia under the supervision of Dr Claire Vincent and Dr Andrew Dowdy.
