Biography

Camille completed her BSc in Communications and Arts at the University of Queensland in 2015. During her BSc, she went on a year-long exchange in the US, which sparked her interest in environmental economics, climate change, and justice research. After graduating, she worked as a project manager at design agencies in San Diego. In 2019, she returned to Australia and briefly worked at OzHarvest before enrolling in a Master of Sustainability at the University of Sydney in 2021. She graduated in 2022 with an Academic Excellence in Sustainability Research prize for her Master's capstone project. Since 2021, Camille has been working as a research assistant (RA) at the University of Sydney, across the School of Physics and Business Schools. Her RA work involves quantifying environmental and social impacts and assessing climate risks arising in national and global supply chains. In March 2023, Camille began her PhD at the University of Sydney. Her PhD focuses on assessing the impact of climate extremes on global supply chains and its implications for the loss and damage agenda. Outside of her research, Camille enjoys outdoor activities (especially being in the ocean), baking sourdough bread, and reading books.
